This 1.5-pound (.7 kg) galvanized steel anchor features four 3.5-inch tines that fold out of the way while stored for space maximization and release when ready for use. While it may seem small, a 1.5 lb. anchor is a more than adequate weight for kayaks and canoes in rivers, lakes, and slower-moving water. Includes 30 feet of 3/16-inch black nylon diamond braid anchor rope and a storage bag.

Note: It is recommended to use 3 times the depth of the water as the length of rope in calm waters and 4-5 times the depth of the water as the length of rope in choppy waters or windy conditions
